Role Overview

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with key decision-makers to create new business opportunities for the sales team.

You’ll be responsible for researching target markets, building and maintaining prospect lists, conducting outreach through multiple channels, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. Experience developing targeted client lists and identifying ideal customer profiles is highly preferred.

This is a hands-on role for a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and has a strong ability to generate opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target accounts, key decision-makers, and potential business opportunities.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously refine prospect and client lists to support outbound sales efforts.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, challenges, and fit with the company's solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and the sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies and improve lead generation efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve prospecting processes, messaging, and overall sales effectiveness.

Regional Context

You’ll work with prospective customers across North America, engaging with business owners, operations leaders, and key decision-makers to help expand the client’s presence in the collision repair and automotive services market. Through strategic prospecting and relationship building, you’ll play a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting growth in a rapidly evolving technology-driven industry.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, or a similar outbound sales role.
  • Proven experience prospecting and generating qualified leads through outbound outreach.
  • Experience researching target accounts and building prospect/client lists.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers confidently.
  • Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools to manage pipeline activity.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong research, qualification, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding activity and performance targets.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, automotive, or B2B sales environments is preferred but not required.
